Customer : Cityscape Appraisals, a residential real estate appraisal business

Initial Problem : Web site was outdated, no way for client to update information, no analytics, no real idea as to how much the site was being found or looked at.

Customer insight : "This is a handshake business, the only reason we need a web site is to look legitimate to existing customers".

WSI Systematic approach:
 1.  Research what keywords are appropriate to the business.
 2.  Types of customers and their expectations and needs.
 3.  Design considerations - Unforgettable and interesting header graphic.
 4.  Determine pages needed and keywords per page.
 5.  Coding phase - with design point reviews with customer.
 6.  Delivery - replacement of current site, hosting provider, email providers.
 7.  Ongoing Support - Analytics, how visitors find the site, what do they look at.
 8.  Corrections - Make changes based on real statistics on site.

Outcomes : Beautiful site with interesting Chicago graphic.  Ranking in Search Engines, and Analytics.  Found that out of state searchers were a new source of customers.  Found existing and new customers were happy filling out "Request for Appraisal" forms instead of faxing, mailing, or calling.  When Real Estate market fell - was still being found for "foreclosure" appraisals.  Found particular searching patterns, with particular days of the week much more likely to bring business.
