Digital Marketing Goes To The Dogs
DoGoneFun! Chicago is a full-service dog facility. Catering to working professionals, they offer dog daycare, dog training, dog grooming, dog boarding, in-home pet sitting as well as dog walking. This vertical in the Chicago metro area is highly competitive and extremely localized, which presents a digital marketing challenge.
DoGoneFun’s competing with not only big chains, like PetSmart™,for many of their service offerings, they also compete with service providers just a few blocks away. This makes the local digital presence essential for their success.
They came to WSI with two specific goals for their online presence-
- Higher visibility in SERP for their doggy daycare business
- An online system for collecting information from new and existing clients for the purpose of scheduling without having to fill out paperwork at the front desk.
Upon examination of the site and their current SERP positions, we constructed an SEO strategy to focus on each service area individually, starting with their most coveted buyer persona; the person looking for dog daycare.
A site redesign was also included in the strategy. The current site was dated, on a “less than SEO friendly” platform and could not be adapted to a reservation system.
The site includes information their new clients want to know like:
- Dog Daycare Rates
- A typical “Day at Doggy Daycare”
- Dog Training Schedule
- Dog Grooming Prices
- And much more
With a successful strategy and conversion driven website, we hope to increase both their visibility in SERP as well as convert more visitors via the online reservation system.
